Memorial Healthcare in Owosso names Darlene Dameron employee of the month

Memorial Healthcare has named Darlene Dameron its June 2026 employee of the month, the Owosso hospital announced in a July 22, 2026, post to its newsroom.
Dameron is a public safety associate in the hospital's public safety department. She has been employed at Memorial Healthcare since August 2024, according to the announcement.
The hospital quoted her winning nomination, which said she is "hands down the friendliest person I have ever met" and that she is often the first face patients, coworkers and outside contractors see when they arrive at Memorial.
"Darlene goes out of her way to assist anyone in what they need," the nomination continued. "She makes sure that before anyone leaves the front desk, they are taken care of. Darlene's daily efforts may sometimes feel that they go unnoticed, but they matter!"
Memorial Healthcare is based at 826 W. King St. in Owosso. The employee of the month program is one of several recognition efforts the hospital publicizes through its newsroom, alongside its DAISY Award nominations for nursing staff.
