The Owosso hospital said Dr. Wyatt Boothby-Shoemaker has joined its active medical staff and is accepting new patients.
Memorial Healthcare has added a dermatologist to its active medical staff in Owosso, the hospital announced Thursday, Aug. 13.
In a notice posted to its newsroom, the hospital said it welcomed Dr. Wyatt Boothby-Shoemaker to the medical staff and to the Owosso community.
According to the announcement, Boothby-Shoemaker earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration through the dual-degree program at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine and Eli Broad College of Business. The hospital said the combination of medical training and business coursework reflects his commitment to patient-centered care.
The hospital said he provides evaluation and treatment for a wide range of skin conditions for patients of all ages, with a focus on personalized treatment, preventive care and patient education. The announcement said his practice covers chronic skin conditions, new concerns and routine skin checks.
Memorial Healthcare described the addition as supporting its stated mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care to the communities it serves.
