Memorial Healthcare in Owosso names Jessica Sargent July employee of month
The Owosso-based health system recognized a medical assistant at its Institute for Neuroscience in Howell after nine coworker nominations.
Memorial Healthcare has named Jessica Sargent its July 2026 Employee of the Month, the Owosso-based health system announced in a post on its newsroom page.
Sargent is a medical assistant at the Memorial Healthcare Institute for Neuroscience in Howell. She has worked for Memorial Healthcare since December 2025, according to the announcement.
The health system said Sargent received nine nominations. Her winning nomination said she "consistently goes above and beyond for her entire team" and is "willing to help and eager to learn tasks to assist her coworkers."
"In her short time with Memorial, both patients and coworkers alike have noticed the care and effort that she puts into her work," the nomination said. It added that Sargent "never stops working, always offering an extra hand even if she has a lot on her plate."
The announcement described Sargent as "a cherished member of the Howell team."
Memorial Healthcare's main campus is at 826 W. King St. in Owosso. The health system recognizes an employee each month; earlier honorees announced this year include Darlene Dameron and Heather Lokinski.
