The Durand City Council's Aug. 17 meeting agenda listed a single item of business: a resolution to adopt the city's Five Year Park and Rec Plan, according to the agenda posted by the city.
The agenda shows the 6 p.m. meeting was to be called to order by Mayor Pro-tem Folaron, with roll call taken by the city clerk. The agenda does not record how any member voted or whether the resolution was adopted. Minutes were not part of the posted document.
The agenda also scheduled a closed session under MCL 15.268(1)(e), described in the document as a session "to consult with legal counsel regarding trial and settlement strategy in the case of Durand Union Station Inc. vs City of Durand Case No. 2026-1854-CH pending in the Shiawassee County Circuit Court."
