Chesaning village council OKs $204,403.59 in bills, hears clean audit
Six of seven council members were present Aug. 18 for a 30-minute meeting that took no action items beyond the consent agenda.
The Chesaning Village Council approved a consent agenda that included $204,403.59 in accounts payable at its regular meeting on Aug. 18, according to the synopsis minutes posted by the village.
The consent agenda also included approval of the minutes from the council's Aug. 4, 2026 meeting. The minutes record no public statements during the meeting.
Council members Navarre, Larner, Danek, Bueche, Wenzel and Chludil were present, according to the minutes. Member Hoover was absent. The synopsis minutes do not record individual vote tallies.
Under items for introduction, the council heard the AHP 2026 audit report. The minutes state the report "was clean" and that "Staff did an exemplary job."
The minutes list no items for action. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. and adjourned at 8 p.m.
The synopsis was submitted by Village Clerk Tina Powell and approved by Village Administrator Tom Ebenhoeh. Powell also recorded the minutes. The village notes that copies of the full meeting minutes are available upon request at the village office, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
