Ovid-Elsie facilities committee set contractor interviews for Aug. 10-11

The Ovid-Elsie Area Schools Board of Education facilities committee met Monday, Aug. 3, at 6 p.m. at the district administration office, according to the meeting agenda posted by the district.

The agenda listed a review of submitted requests for qualifications in two categories: construction management and architectural services.

It also set interview dates. Construction management interviews were scheduled for Monday, Aug. 10, and architectural services interviews for Tuesday, Aug. 11. A separate agenda item covered interview questions.

The agenda included time for public communication. Written correspondence was to be circulated to board members, Ovid-Elsie personnel could address the committee with correspondence, and members of the public could speak under Board Policy 0167.3, which the agenda quotes as recognizing "the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of allowing members of the public to express themselves on District matters."
